About

Temptress

London duo Temptress are an independent duo who sing, write and produce their own fusion of dark pop, R&B, and hip hop-inspired beats from their hometown of London. In true DIY spirit, Temptress also make all their own music videos and visuals occasionally directing videos for other artists through their production company Plastic Fruit Studios.

Releasing singles since 2016, Temptress’s music has garnered over 2.5 million streams to date and a flow of support from VEVO, BBC Introducing’s ‘Featured Artist of the Week’, and Robert Elm’s show where they performed a live session, along with spins by DJs Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart, Jamz Supernova and Gary Crowley. The duo’s live game is strong; they have sold out a headline show at The Pickle Factory, London, opened for Rejjie Snow and were invited to perform at Clara Amfo’s ‘About’ showcase.

Speaking about their new single, they say: "'Baby Blue' is about acknowledging your sadness, after suffering from anxiety for so many years. This is a way of opening up about the struggles I’ve had and reflecting on my past that lead me to where I am now. It’s about saying I need help and I’m ready to move forward, its okay to be sad and how talking openly can help you come to terms with those thoughts and feelings."
