About

STORME

STORME makes luminous electronic pop about nature, because nature is what she knows. The Swedish star spent much of her childhood exploring local woodland – a paradise of pine trees and untouched wilderness, punctuated by lakes that shimmer in sunlight in daytime, then lap quietly beneath sprawling stars at night.

Since STORME’s 2017 debut single, the moody, Kate Bush-indebted ‘Burning Echoes’, Liedberg has won applause from The Line of Best Fit, Complex, Atwood and Earmilk.

BBC Introducing and Sweden’s P3 radio station have all championed her as an exciting new voice, leading to a recent taste of TV stardom: in 2019, she co-wrote and featured on the award-winning soundtrack to crime drama The Bay, shown on ITV in the UK and TV4 in her homeland.

From there, momentum gathered. After ‘Burning Echoes’ came 2018 singles ‘Volcano,’ ‘Be My Drummer’ and ‘Starlight’, which featured on American TV show The Bold Type. Each one underlined STORME’s reputation for airy, ethereal melodic magic and lyrics intertwining human impulses with natural phenomena. A publishing deal with The Kennel/Universal Musicin Sweden and an appearance at Latitude Festival followed. Then in 2019 came her biggest single yet – the folky ‘Back To Her’, with over 400,000 Spotify streams to date.
