The Copenhagen based songwriter grew up in the south of Denmark, before moving to London to pursue music and escape the realities of growing up in a small border town.

It was in London GIMI released his first single gaining support from The Line of Best Fit and Paper Magazine where he was featured as one of the ’50 LGBTQ Musicians You Should Prioritize’. GIMI went on to play SPOT Festival and SMUK Fest in 2019 and has since been focusing on completing his debut EP which is due later this year.

His latest single Boy Bye is produced by Dorian Electra's frequent collaborator ABSRDST.
